I just did this last night! I went to $5 Below and picked out some sport team stuff, a couple candy bars, a toliet reading puzzle book, hair brush, travel tolietries for him to keep at work... just little goofy things

DH and I only do stockings for one another. Last year I did a winter hat and gloves and a wallet.

I get him chapstick, body wash from bath and body works, alcohol filled chocolate...stuff like that.

I saw some Woodford Reserve-filled chocolates that I thought about getting. DH is getting a pocket square and a tie clip (exciting, right?) and a new wallet-type thing.

@mediagirl: That's my problem! I don't want to waste my money on junk that he isn't going to use. He does travel a lot for work, so those ideas would definitely be useful.

I usually just do iTunes gift cards (hubby really likes music) or other gift cards and candy.

Kiehl's moisturizer or face wash. A 3 way charger (USB, etc.). Ties.

I get only useful stuff too - coffee giftcards, edibles (he loves chocolate), nips - things that get used and you don't have to keep around the house.

I get DH scratcher tickets. He loves scratching them but would never buy them for himself.

We do necessities usually. So he gets new undershirts, socks, his favorite candy, snacks (like nice beef jerky).

@littlebittyhouse: My MIL still does stockings for all her boys (3) and one year... I don't know if she realized (at least I hope she didn't) she got them all underwear with ball sack "lifts". To make their junk look bigger...... it was incredibly awkward.
