I want to get my daughters a kid's book to tell the story of Jesus's birth. We talk about it a lot, but it would be nice to show her pictures as we walk through it so she understands better what a stable/manger/ect. really are. Does anyone have a good book they use to tell the story of Christmas?

We have this one that is called The Story of Christmas. It is a short, sweet story that my daughter seems to love.

This book may be a little young for her, but it's really good. I like that it's also accurate in the telling of the wisemen (Jesus is a toddler in their arrival). I'm obviously a nerd though.

Who is coming to our house is a cute book that doesn't really talk about Mary and Joseph but it's from the point of view of the animals in the barn as they get ready for Jesus, their visitor. It will explain the stable/manger part

There Was No Snow on Christmas Eve--exquisite pictures (including a pregnant Mary and a realistic newborn Jesus, which I think is a huge plus!), and a nice rendition of the Christmas story.
