So dd had her nine month well baby appointment today with her pediatrician, and although he answered my questions, I feel more stressed than before.
1) dd gained 20 grams - not even an ounce - in a month. She's been gaining a pound a month at least until now. Dr. wasn't concerned, but she did drop from 50% to 25%. She's not crawling or walking, just rolling a bit more, so I'm hesitant to blame it on that. She grew 1.5" in the last month.
2) he gave me a sheet showing how much food she should be consuming daily and holy crap! It seems like SO MUCH FOOD! There's no way I can get that into her daily (attached for reference).
3) I was concerned because she doesn't seem to be urinating enough, so I did weighed diapers for two days. Yesterday she peed a total of 225cc. For her weight, she should be at about 375cc. She will go 14 hours at night without a diaper change and in the morning it will be neary dry. It used to be super heavy! He wasn't concerned.
Don't know what I'm expecting from this. I'm just stressed because I feel like I'm doing something wrong...
I know (truly, because we struggle with weight with my little peanuts) how stressful growth and food issues are, but if your ped isn't concerned and she's growing/eating at all at this phase, I think you should be very pleased.
