The Cit Mini does a bassinet also!

I LOVE my City Mini. It's amazing and I'm obsessed with it. The stroller is super lightweight, extremely easy to fold and unfold, has a huge canopy, fits in a compact car. I can't rave enough. It's awesome.

Here's a pic I found with the bassinet. This is after you remove the fabric seat part completely, you can leave the fabric part of the stroller on as well.

I looooove my UBV. Like my Bugaboo ok, but like the donkey more than the chameleon that we have.

That said, if I drove everywhere and had to keep the stroller in the trunk and unfold a lot I'd pick a lighter stroller.

What kind of occasions would you be using your stroller?

Can I ask why you would get the donkey vs the chameleon?

The city mini has a bassinet. So do the uppa baby vista and Cruz. So does the stokke, the b ready, and the I candy.

@anonysquire: I guess I meant more like are you driving somewhere and then strolling, storing it in your car, taking it on a plane, would you be using it all day long or just for shorter neighborhood walks. Would you have to fold it and carry it down stairs? Do you frequently have to go through narrow doors?

@anonysquire: If you're gong to be carting it around, pulling it in and out of a trunk, and running errands, I'd look for something lighter weight. I wouldn't get a big, heavy stroller. They're a major PITA, even with a big trunk.

I think the donkey would probably be overkill for you.
I've heard a lot of raves about the ease of the City Mini.
For me, the priority was on comfort of push and storage. On some day I'll use the stroller for eight hours straight. It needs to hold a ton of baby stuff and be easy to push around. It would be a huge PITA to fold and put in the car all the time. I've only put ours in the car a dozen times and it's annoying enough that I'm considering adding a G-Luxe to just keep in the car.
Is there anywhere near you where you can test drive? I ruled out some strollers just because they were a pain to push.

@anonysquire: If you are looking at Bugaboos, look at the Buffalo. We bought one this summer because we have a winter baby on the way, but we have been using it with our toddler since the day we got it. What sold me on it more than the Chameleon (we didn't want a double) were the wheels because we get a lot of snow here and they are all big like on the Donkey, the seat is rated up to 21 kilos instead of 15, and the basket also has a higher weight capacity than the Chameleon. It comes with bassinet and toddler seat. It is awesome. We don't have a car, so I never have to fold it, but it does fold in one piece.
