Not even sure if I am saying it right. Like the strollers that have an attatchment or add on to look like the bassinet type stroller. Anyways does anyone have one or recommend one?
And how long (age) can babies lay down in a bassinet stroller for?

We have the Bugaboo Cameleon and used the bassinet for 5ish months. LO was tiny and we couldn't get the straps tight enough on the seat to use it sooner. It was nice using the bassinet in the winter bc we could bundle her up in a snowsuit and blankets and she was cozy.
The UB Vista has a bassinet too.

The City Mini has a bassinet also, if youre wanting a less expensive option to the Bugaboo and UB Vista.

The Britax B-Ready has that option. I got it for DS and it was fun to push him in that. I also like this stroller because it has grown with us, it is now my functioning double for inside use (aka when I can't use my double BOB). I just wish I had bought it when DD was born, instead of finding it when DS was born.

We have a Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle and used the bassinet for around ten weeks or so. We found it really handy as a nap space downstairs in our living room and also when we went away overnight.
We also hired a Snap'n Go but I'm not a fan of leaving a young baby in the carseat for extended periods of time so we used the bassinet for our outings too

We have an Uppababy Vista that has the bassinet attachment. I think you can buy one that works with the Uppababy Cruz, too (the Cruz is a little bit narrower and a little cheaper though once you add the bassinet, the cost difference isn't huge).
I think you can usually leave the baby in the bassinet until around 4-5 months-- either until they are big enough for the regular seat or until they get too bored laying down and not seeing what's happening around them.

The Valco Baby Spark converts to a bassinet so you don't need to buy an attachment for it.

I love our britax b agile and it has a bassinet attachment.
also: their bigger model, the b ready has a bassinet attachment.
The Hauck shop n drive not only has a bassinet attachment but can convert Ito a double as well (like the b ready).
All these strollers also have click ins for car seats.
Here's some pics (agile, b ready, Hauck)

We just got a Bugaboo Buffalo, similar to the Cameleon, in preparation for baby 2, and it comes with the bassinet and seat. I think the Buffalo is only available in a few countries right now though. I think most babies could be in the bassinet at least until 4 months if not up to 6.

@lamariniere: do you know the differences between the buffalo and cameleon?
I remember now that when we went to use our seat, it said for ages 6 months +. We used it at 5ish months though. She didn't like lying on her back anymore.

@tinyperson: I test drove both the Cameleon and the Buffalo with my 35+ pound toddler. The Cameleon is still easier to push, probably the easiest stroller I have ever used, but for our needs, we still went with the Buffalo. We need big wheels for the cold snowy winters here. We had a Maclaren this past winter and I could not push it in the snow. Since baby 2 will be a winter baby, we went all out for the big stroller.
The Buffalo is basically a more robust version of the Cameleon. It has 4 big wheels instead of 2 big and 2 small. The seat is rated for a higher weight capacity (up to 21 kilos) and the basket can hold maybe 8-10 kilos? You can also fold it in one piece instead of 2. Their website isn't working right now or I would give you the specs. But it looks nearly identical to the Cameleon with the major visible change being the wheels.

@lamariniere: thanks! I don't think it's available in Canada yet, and we have the cameleon. 4 big wheels would have been nice for the winter! LO was a December baby.
