May have just done the stupidest thing ever in baking...I forgot to put the milk in and have no idea how it is going to turn out. It's for a birthday cake for my mom...and I bought the nicer chocolate for it too. Bugger it all!

I'm a nightmare in the kitchen. I made tollhouse cookies with half the butter. They didn't turn out well. Usually I burn stuff or forget an ingredient.

I once accidentally made Italian meringue buttercream using salted butter. It's a pretty long process to make so when I finally realized my mistake, I was so pissed that I had just wasted all that effort/time. Plus, butter isn't cheap.

My "cake" looks a lot like very chewy brownies...what a waste. And this means making another one tomorrow even though I'm working until nearly 7...oh boy.

If it tastes decent, a brownie cake can be cute too, especially if you cut two rounds (one small and one bigger) and stack it up like a two-tiered cake and frost it

I tried to make meringue and was hand-whipping. I had a drop of yolk in it and thought, "Ah, well"...I was whipping for 15 minutes with no results before I googled it and learned that the yolk had ruined it all.

I was making brownies one time and accidentally put in 1 3/4c of oil instead of 3/4c... yeah, those were some greasy brownies.

Once I put two table spoons instead of teaspoons of salt when making a challah. My very kind husband still ate it though, even though it was extra salty.
My favorite was when my sister didn't put the apples in her apple cake.

When I was a teenager I forgot to add flour when making cookies. They just melted in the oven. I mean how do you forget such an integral ingridient. Lol

I once found out that you cannot use olive oil in place of vegetable oil in brownies. Don't try it.

Once I used 3/4 a cup salt and a a tsp of sugar for cookies. My grandma had them in unlabeled glass jars. Haha. Guess what we did right away?
