I'm ordering a pair of Pedipeds for a small 9 month old who has decided she wants to walk and is sliding all over our wood floors. Most of the ones I'm finding one sale are cute but soft suede, which seems like it'll get roughed up really quickly.
Has anyone owned these? Are they going to get wrecked instantly? our other pedipeds for LO1 have held up really well (and will be handed down once LO2 grows a bit)but they were all traditional leather. Thanks!!

She's walking mainly inside right? I think it'll be fine. Our robeez were suede on the bottom and they held up just fine, even outside in the fall.

We had some of the suede ones and they lasted pretty well. He wore them pretty regularly for probably 2-3 months and there's just minimal wearing on the toes from crawling.

@PinkElephant: do you have a picture? My LO had a pair of suede-like black pedipeds and they held up just fine. I actually got them second hand. But she only wore them inside at daycare really.

@littlebug: That's what I was thinking - that she still does a ton of crawling, so the toes might take a bit of a beating. I suppose in a dark color like the link below it'll be fine though. The hot pink ones would probably get gross pretty fast.

@PinkElephant: Yeah, those should be ok. Come to think of it, the ones D was in were actually purchased used (from HB classifieds), so they were even a little broken in before he got them. I'd feel completely comfortable re-selling them in the condition they're in, if that makes any sense.

@littlebug: it does, and you and I think alike I'm hoping that whatever I buy will remain in good enough condition to use again or sell/pass on to someone else (like our regular leather pedipeds have been).
The stars are just too cute; I'm going for it.

We had brown ones, and the toes got a little worn, but they weren't too bad - they seemed really comfy.
ETA: the stars might help the toes from looking worn (from crawling)!
