Sounds like you guys enjoy action thriller dramas... have you checked out Alias, La Femme Nikita (old or new ones) or Covert Affairs?

@Arden: There are five seasons of Alias on Netflix! I've never seen it but it's gotten good reviews.
Dunno when the new season is coming out... I think they had to take a break for the actors to film the Hobbit and the Star Trek sequel!

I loved Top if the Lake on Sundance but if your husband has a hard time with accents it may not work. My husband couldn't get into it because some of the actors were tough to understand. I had to put closed captioning on a few times but it was worth it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Breaking Bad!!! You can get most of it on Netflix. Also, The Wire is awesome. We haven't seen the latest (final) season but we like Weeds too. A lot of that is on Netflix too.
