Mom's is it easier to apply sunscreen/block in lotion or stick form?
I like the idea of lotion that I can smear and thin out. Sometimes sticks to me clump up in one area and is thick & pasty so harder to smear evenly?

I had originally just bought the California Baby stick sunscreen but it was pretty difficult to cover my toddler so yesterday I bought the lotion. So I will do stick on her face and lotion everywhere else.
Also, when we were at buybuy Baby yesterday, I found a 12 pack of miniature sunscreen lotions to throw in your diaper bag! I thought it was brilliant and I was suckered into spending the $12 but I thought it would be nice to have.

I think the lotion is easier. I want to buy sunscreen wipes but they are too expensive for regular use!

I find mineral sunscreen difficult to apply no matter what the formulation, so I am really no help at all!
I've used the lotions, they're more like paste, so I am trying to find another alternative.

@regberadaisy: Alba Botanical Natural Sunscreen for kids. It comes in a purple tube.

We are still using mineral sunblock as well. Usually you can't find these in the stick or spray options, just lotion.

Mineral sunscreens are the ones with active ingredients of Titanuim Dioxide or Zinc Oxide.
