With the "big" game coming up what is on your menu? I've been looking up recipes all day (not good for a starving pregnant woman) and can't narrow it down! Just going to be chilling at home, maybe have our neighbors over, nothing crazy!

Im making rye bread snacks, shredded cheddar with chopped pimento stuffed olives and black olives, chopped onion and mayo baked at 350 for about 7 minutes on cocktail rye bread. It's a traditional app on Ms side. And stuffed mushrooms. Made with canned jalapeños, cream cheese, shredded parm and some garlic salt and pepper. Baked at 350 till puffy and toasty about 35 minutes. A co worker brought it in to my old work 5+ years ago. Our friends we are watching the game with are vegetarians but you can add bacon to the mushrooms too. Go Hawks!!

@LuLu Mom: better change the title to the Big Game.
I haven't had Buffalo chicken dip all season so I'm making that. DH is making a pot roast stromboli we saw on The Kitchen last weekend. Just my ILs are coming over so probably just appies for dinner.
Maybe pigs in a blanket using crescent Rolls because I know DD will love that.

I always do themed foods, so with Seattle vs. New England we’re looking at:
Crab dip and chips
Smoked salmon, selection of Maine (and New England) and Washington state cheeses with crackers
Salmon burger sliders
Mini lobster rolls
Espresso brownies
Mini Boston crèmes (maybe, we’ll see)

@yoursilverlining: fun idea!
I think we're going to make wings and fresh spring rolls. We're really looking forward to just hanging out at home, so it will probably just be appetizers for dinner.

@yoursilverlining: @youboots: HAHA you ladies are so much more fancy than me
I was thinking pigs in a blanket, potato skins, some kind of dip (probably jalapeno popper since it's DH favorite), and probably a pot of chili. Although looking at this menu, it is a LOT of spicy, which is not good for this heartburn suffering momma! ha

We're making mini turkey sloppy joe-topped cornbread, two kinds of wings - BBQ and Asian style, cookie bars and will have snacks - chips, salsa, guacamole, etc!

Last time I made it, I followed the recipe and used large pieces of bone-in chicken but I also used some party wings. The party wings cooked much faster and were easier, so I think I'm gonna make just the party wings this time. It was a YOOGE hit when I made it a few weeks ago, so I'm excited to make a tried-and-true recipe again! I used honey and Sriracha for the glaze, and it is amazing.

I'm making buffalo chicken dip, nachos and probably something with meat in it - maybe wings.

Our friends are making chili and we'll be bringing chicken wings. DH makes amazing wings that are not fried but still so crispy. Along with all of the other things people are bringing like various dips and such, I think I'll be making heartburn. Then again water gives me heartburn lately.
