DD is supposed to wear closed toe shoes. She loves dressing up and doesn't always want to wear her tennis shoes. But all the ballet flat styles I have found have NO support. Any suggestions for brands to look for?

@Mamaof2: As long as it was "pretty" and "dressy" I think she would be ok. But she really likes easy on ballet flats

@T.H.O.U.: Do you think she would like a sparkly mary jane sneaker? My DD also loved wearing flats but she was also really happy to wear this style. We have had like four pairs already. http://www.6pm.com/cienta-kids-shoes-56013-infant-toddler-youth-light-pink

@T-Mom: I tried something similar to that from Target and she HATES them.
@MrsKoala: Do you know how supportive something like this is? I mean it looks a bit better than the $15 Gap ballet flats but still not a ton of support. Am I overthinking this? Isn't it bad for her feet to be in unsuportive shoes all day? If she had her way she would wear the lovely pair of pump high heels every day.

@T.H.O.U.: I see. Well the brand I have heard is very supportive is Naturino. But it tends to be very pricey.

@T-Mom: Thanks! They have some good looking ones!

@T.H.O.U.: you know if she would be ok with a style like that, I wonder if she would also be willing to wear a See Kai run mary jane. Those are pretty supportive too. The big girl styles look a little more like ballet flats.

@MrsKoala: @T.H.O.U.: I was going to suggest Clarks too. LO has some ballet style Clarks flats and they are night and day compared to Gap shoes. The materials, construction and support are much better.

@T.H.O.U.: personally, I've found their shoes to be much better made and feel a lot more supportive than others that I've looked at.
