@mediagirl: Their decision on Prop 8 could POSSIBLY make it unconstitutional to outright ban gay marriage in a state. We have to wait for that one and see what happens.

This doesn't excuse yesterday's ruling, but I am very excited about both the DOMA strikedown and the Prop 8 ruling (SSM is now legal, again, in CA)!

@zippylef: Don't know for sure, but I'm under the impression they overturned it for California, meaning that same-sex marriage in California is once again legal.
