At 8 months it appears DS has his first virus. He started vomiting last night and that stopped this morning, but then the diarrhea started. Happy Mother's Day to me! I just feel bad for my little guy. He's been sleeping off and on almost all morning. Would you wake him or let him sleep? He's totally just not being himself!

I'd say let him sleep as much as he needs. We all came down with a horrible, really bad strain of a stomach virus at 4 weeks pp. It was really bad. I know there's a difference between 8 month olds and 4 week olds, but X slept and nursed the whole time and came out of it just fine.

I'd let him sleep. I know when I don't feel we'll all I want is to sleep. Poor baby and mommy!

C got nasty stomach flu at 10 months. She really just slept or cuddled us through most of it. She gets dairy-intolerant, so we just pumped her full of pedialite.
