My parents were never a big fan of the long term swaddle. She understood when she was an itty bitty newborn but by about 2 months she thought she should be out of it and definitely by 4-5 months when we stopped using it.

Now she says that she thinks part of our sleep problems now (not going to sleep on her own in the crib) stem from being swaddled. I don't think there is any scientific backing to this thought, just her thinking. Any thoughts?
