My 3.5 year old is talking to DH and insisting he take her to the store so she can buy me flowers. She's got this whole plan planned out, it's so adorable I don't think DH can say no to that!
Has your LO done anything sweet lately?

My LO is only 9 months but she just crawled up to me and tugged on my nursing bra so I asked "do you want milk?" And she smiled and tried to crawl in my lap and rubbed her face on my shoulder. Ah! So cute.

The other day I was just having a really bad, tired, no patience kind of day, and I smacked my head hard on a towel rack picking up the bath toys. I yelled (fine I cursed) and started crying. My 2.5 yo came running in and asked me if I was ok, then brought me my water bottle and asked if I wanted a sip of water, while she gently rubbed my head. It was so sweet (and made me realize I've become my mom offering her water no mater what's bothering her ).

These are so sweet!
When my littlest cries, big brother sings to her all the songs I sing to him. It's the best

My LO has been so sweet lately! My favorite recent habit is she comes and lays her head on my chest then pulls my arms around her and says "pat pat!" (wanting me to hug her and pat her back... so incredibly sweet!)

Last night we were putting our 3 year old DD to bed and she said that baby bother was going to be here soon. I told her pretty soon, just a couple more weeks. And she said "it's so hard to wait for baby brother to get here".

My son is 20 months old and has always been notoriously unaffectionate since infancy. But in the last month or so, whenever he sees me or DH when we pick him up at daycare or when he gets home from daycare, he runs to us and says "HI!!!" and then raises his arms up above his head to be picked up for a hug - and then actually snuggles up and gives hugs. DH and I have been soaking it up because who knows how long this will last!

My kids go to different daycares albeit by the same (smallish) provider. They had a mix up with the dates for their teacher days and now they are not on the same day and thus they allowed us to bring our little one to our older's daycare today as an exception.
My older LO was SOOOO excited and packed everything for his sister and once we were at the daycare he unpacked everything and put all of his sister's things away to the right spots (i.e. the diapers in the diaper drawer, the spare cloths in his box for that, the sleep sack in the sleeping room and the water bottles to the other water bottles). It was the sweetest thing to see.

E isn't known for her "sweetness", but she melted my heart the other day when she said "I really, really love you".

My neighbour told me that yesterday when she dropped her son off at daycare he was really upset, crying hard, and my son kept bringing him books and toys to try to cheer him up.

My 4yo wanted to dress to match me the other day, even though I was wearing jeans and she HATES jeans
And when Iasked her what she wanted for breakfast she said "I'll probably want whatever you're having".

I'm in the hospital after having DS2 and DH is at home with our toddler and he was telling me about their evening and it cracked me up:
"I had to make a last minute client call and as the call was wrapping up, the line beeps as if someone else is joining the line. Then I hear loud meeep, meeeeeep, meeeeep tones on the line and I'm like what on Earth, who is playing 'Hot Cross Buns' on the phone right now? So I say 'hello? Is someone on the line?' and then I hear Sam go 'heyo?' And then I realize Sam had grabbed the other cordless phone and had decided to join the call. He went and got the phone out of our room and then hid out in the guest room in the dark, so it actually took me a hot second to find him."

@Mae: yes! DS shook the back of the rocking chair when I stopped rocking and grabbed my hand to pay his bottom again when snuggling last night.

Last night while putting her to bed, DD cuddled with me, hugged me, kissed me, kept looking up at me sweetly saying mommy, we laughed at our silly songs, and she drifted off to sleep in my arms

DD sang her little bro some lullabies when he was having a hard time with teething the other day.
And sometimes she will give me a cuddle and say "mommy, you're my best friend."
