We're taking our 6 month old swimming for the first time in an indoor pool. He has a swimsuit and a flotation device (though we'll be holding him at all times). Should we do disposable swim diapers or reusable? Anything else we might need? I'm clueless

I have always used a reusable swim nappy as I figure we're going to get lots of use out of it, and I find they don't get as bulky/waterlogged as the disposables. If you're swimming indoors, I'd say you have everything you need - enjoy!

I also prefer the reusable swim diaper, but we have both for swim classes (requires double diapers). A cozy towel for baby! And just note, it will probably be a quick swim for you. They wrinkle quickly and get cold easily.

Definitely reusable.. Those disposables just don't work very well, unfortunately.

We prefer the reusables. I would check with the place you're taking your LO also because some places don't allow disposables, like where we take our LO.
