@Mrs. Lion: I guess I felt that he was safer in the sense that he wouldn't be stepped on, or kicked in the head or something like that. We didn't really have too many issues at that point thankfully (and i would never put it on a raised surface, that has too much potential for disaster). Also, a bouncer I wouldn't mind bringing into the bathroom with me, whereas I wouldn't put baby on the floor in the bathroom, so there's that.

Snuggabunny swing! We used it nearly every day until she was 6 months old.

I wouldn't have survived the first few months without it.
