We're trying to finish up our registry and can't decide on a swing. I like the look of the Mamaroo and how small it is, but I've read that it moves too slowly for a lot of babies and may not be worth the price. I like that it can swing in different directions, the padding seems soft, and it has the mobile, lights, and music to keep her entertained. The downside is that the thing is huge. The other two I was looking at were the Fisher Price Snugabunny cradle swing or the Fisher Price Discover N Grow swing. So anyone have any of these? What do you think? If you don't, what swing do you have and what do you think of it?

We had the Mamaroo and the Snuggabunny. My LO slept in the mamaroo for the first 3 months and loved it, but she seems to be the exception?? I really liked the white noise machine on it too.. The Snuggabunny was great as well, except it ran on batteries.. which kind of sucked. It wasn't as versatile as the mamaroo and we only used it for naps at my parent's house.

Definitely go for the Snugabunny over the one that you linked. That one only has a 3-point harness - potential safety risk once your kiddo gets more wiggly. Snugabunny plugs in, five-point harness, neutral for both sexes/decor, etc, and does all the things you like about the other.

Our little goddaughter has one similar to the one you linked and she loves it. The music and lights are her favorite parts. It is huge, however.

We had the Snugabunny and it was amazing (ours plugged in- I don't know that they sell the battery operated only ones anymore...). I wanted to cry when my son grew out of it.

It has a much smaller foot print than the other swings, plugs in And it's a glider, which babies may/may not like. But it also doubles as a bouncer. We are also really tight on floor space, which is why we are registering for this one. It looks like it has pretty good reviews on BRU and Amazon.

Another vote for Snugabunny! I know it's big but it really doesn't seem to take up that much room. Even if it did, it is SO worth it!

I had both with the twins. They liked them both but my son liked the snugabunny and my daughter the mammaroo more. The snugabunny is HUGE and the mammaroo has a much smaller footprint. That is how we ended up with two. I think I would have bought two snugabunny's if I had more space. We broke down the mammaroo first and used the snugabunny until my son was about 9 months for middle of the night wake up's.

I had the Fisher Price Luv You Zoo swing. It plugs in, has the 2 swing motions and 2 seat positions, has a 5 point harness and has the FP warranty. Mine went through my 1st and my bff's LO without any issues and now it's getting ready for our #2.

Another vote for the snugabunny! We started with a smaller one and had to switch - the space it takes up is totally worth it because it's the only place our LO will nap for longer than 30 minutes. Total lifesaver!

A friend of ours gave us her unused My Little Lamb Cradle n' Swing. It's the edition before the Snugabunny, which is actually the model we had on our registry after hearing such positive things (we removed it after we got the lamb swing). Honestly, I have no complaints. It doesn't have a power cord, but runs forever on D batteries. It does the job, and our LO seems to really like it.

Dd loved her snugabunny! Any fp swing in that style would be good. She was a swing addict so we needed a power cord.

Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions. I am concerned about the size but it looks like the Snugabunny might be the way to go, we just might have to rearrange some furniture or move a table out to the garage for a while.

We got the Graco plug-in swing. Neither of us were fans of how the Snugabunny looked, so we went with the only other plug-in swing we could find. The weight limit is 30 pounds, and we have used it daily for 15 months, and just put it away at 19 months. It has the built in vibrate and the sounds are great too.
