We usually do a few baseball games a year. Next month, we're heading to a minor league game with the rest of my son's Kindergarten class!
Some of the venues have kid-friendly places where the kids can play, which the kids love. But for the most part, they haven't gotten into watching the game. Their favorite part is when the mascots fire tee-shirts into the crowds!
Have you taken the kids to any sporting events? Which ones do they enjoy most?

We haven't but baseball would probably be one of the firsts. I definitely would NOT take them to a football game till they are much much older. I'm not even that big of a Fan of taking them to hockey games, seeing as how the sport promotes fighting.

We haven't actually taken her yet but she loves watching sports on TV. We've also trained her so well to say "Go Red Sox" that she was yelling "Go Red Sox" during the Basketball playoffs last night....

We go to sporting events all the time, at least a couple a month, and have since J was 4 months old. He LOVES it!
Monday night we went to the Red Sox game and he was so good, focused on the game (and the food! haha) until 10:45 bottom of the 9th, when we decided to head home.
@regberadaisy: we haven't been to a Patriots game yet. I might do a preseason game, but regular season is waaayy too cold for me!

Starting at age 4 DH started taking DS to the PSU football games - DS prefers to walk around and eat over watching the game 
He also went to a Phillies game last year and same thing - watched some, walked around some

Not yet. At this point we're waiting until DD2 is older and we'll start going as a family. Can't wait!!!

We just started taking her to baseball games (we've gone 2x so far) at 13 months! She's been really good, though I don't think she's paying any attention to the actual game. We get seats in a section that has access to a "club" level (the tix are only like $35!) so we've spent half the time in our seats, and half letting her run around in the club space (which also is comfier for nursing!)

We took DS to a NFL game and a MLB game. He doesn't care much for the game, but loves the music they play periodically. He loves music and to dance along. lol

@Alivoo01: can I ask which stadium? I'm a HUGE NFL fan and can't wait to take DS!! I think some stadiums are rowdier than others, but our closest options haven't been too crazy the couple times we've been sans-DS.

We go to minor league baseball games all the time (Single A). His first game was at 6 weeks old! We go 6-8+ times a season and he loves it. Each year has been a little different. L think last year was the hardest because all he wanted to do was climb up and down the bleachers. This year at 3 years old he has started to get into the game a little bit.
We took him to a hockey game at 10 months old but haven't been to one since.

We took LO to a college basketball game at age 2 and he LOVED it for about 30 minutes (the pre-game music, etc.). We had to leave soon after because I was tired of chasing him around and there is no way he would have sat in a seat any longer.

We took Fi to a phillies game when she was 10months old the club seats are great because i could bring her out on the "concourse" without all the crowds.
We took her to a Flyers game at 15 months and she loved it!

@Applesandbananas: 6 months maybe? however, we have friends that take their LO's that range from all sorts of ages and they all have a good time. The tailgating part is the best.

Outdoor semi pro soccer game. They had a family night and it was so much fun.

The MLB game we took her to she just watched the people. The hockey game we took her to she watched the players (taking after her momma).
