I feel sort of silly for asking this but tomorrow we are planning to take our 20 week old to a nursing home for a Halloween visit a local church puts on. I really like the idea of our little dinosaur bringing some smiles, but am suddenly nervous and unsure about germ protocol.

I would typically just babywear him to limit contact but his costume has a tail. Would you just politely ask people to not touch his hands/face? Lie and say he is afraid of strangers? Just wash his hands right afterwards? Or am I being crazy?
