My mom is a really good dancer. In fact she was a featured dancer on a local dance show similar to American Bandstand when she was in HS. I have no rhythm.

The only this I can think of is my mom and brother are both good sketchers. I'm OK, but did NOT get near the same talent as they did. Neither of them actually draw anymore, so it's a dead talent.
My DH is awesome at wood-working, and just understands how pieces fit together (super helpful skill), his dad is similar and he learned most of what he knows from his grandfather. I hope our kids get that talent!

Lots of artists/creatives in my family: Opera singer, painter, sculptor, web design, etc.

Also a few doctors, but none of that made it to my particular sect of the family.

I got a music bug, but not sure from who - my mom can't hold a tune to save her life, but my dad isn't horrible at singing. I think I've passed a little bit of that on to LO...the two of us can make up a silly song on the spot, and that always amazes DH!

DH picked up his handiness and woodworking from his dad. His dad was an architect but never kept up with the technology, so he was laid off and held odd jobs until he retired. He's still really good at being handy and taught everything he knows to DH. I'm pretty amazed at how he can build a train table for LO in a weekend or that he remodeled our half bath on his own. In LO's room, he took one wall and put wainscotting 3/4 of the way up with a shelf at the top. He reused the trim from that wall to fix the trim in other places in that room and it looks so seamless.

Ok....maybe we have a speedy gene in our family, aka fast runners but that is all. And that can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you use it for LOL

On my hubby's side, many athletes even Major League Baseball and football players so fingers crossed lo gets daddy's athletic genes and my speedy legs

Crafty/handy, good bakers, that's about it. Not too much talent lol.

Lots of artists & musicians. My grandmother was an opera singer, aunts, uncles and cousins play in the symphony, we're related to a famous classical composer.
I had a short-lived musical career with a major record label and I definitely am the least talented of the bunch.

Lots of artists and musicians in my family. I can carry a tune if it's in the right range, but I'm nothing anywhere close to impressive like my dad, aunt, or cousins. And I have zero artistic talent...my dad and brothers are all great artists. I don't know if it's a talent, but I do love to write, which I get from both my parents but especially my dad (who was a journalist) and his mother (who had several short stories and a book published).

On DH's side- arts definitely, his great grandmother, cousin, and brother are amazing painters! His cousin is also an incredibly talented photographer. Sports also runs in his family. DH was a very good football player. Unfortunately, I am a DISMAL athlete and my poor son picked up on that (but he got my academic gene).
