What are the options for tailgating when you don't have a car? We are in Philly and want to experience the tailgating but obviously can't really participate ourselves... Are we limited to parties thrown at bars? So confused.

There are several bars around the stadiums so you could have a pretty good time doing that. Everyone seems to love xfinity. Aside from that I don't know how you'd tailgate without a car! People usually set their stuff up in the back of their car.

For the eagles game? Just head to the Linc's lot and take a walk around. You might need to know someone to get some food and beer but it's always a sight to see how we eagles fans pregame! But you can also duck into any sports bar in Philly for a fun time too.

You can usually buy beer from somewhere in the tailgating area and walk around. As a total outsider to the whole thing, we have been to a number of American football games. We just go to the stadium area, buy beer, and walk around the tailgating area. It's really cool to do that. You can't like, eat people's food or anything, but you can get a good feel for the experience.

In FL Dolphins stadium they have tons of food trucks and well you can pretty much cozy up with any tailgating party....lol

For our college and sports team, it's basically like a big outside party. You just walk around and enjoy the sights. They are usually vendors to buy food and drinks from. There are also events and entertainment leading up to kickoff.

Personally I only tailgate if I'm actually attending the game and have a vehicle there. Otherwise go to a sports bar. All the above suggestions sound fun though.

You might ask around. DH is part of a dc tailgate that caters to other fans as well. They can't officially sell food, but they welcome others and ask for a donation to cover food. You might see if there's something like that in your area
