Do you like talking on the phone?
I hate it. HATE. IT.

I used to, but not so much anymore. I will have phone chats during long commutes, but those convos are usually for my out of state bests to keep in touch weekly.

Text me, IM me, email me, talk to me on HelloBee but pleeeeease don't call me!! I always forget what I meant to say when I'm on the phone. At least with an email I can hold onto it until I remember!!

Yesssss. I will even drive across town to businesses to ask questions because I HATE talking on phones! It's different with my mom and one of my best friends, but with anyone else, I wish it could be in person or in writing.

I hate it too. My husband, my parents, my brother, and my best friend are the only people I like talking to on the phone. Everyone else I just feel awkward. Which is weird because in person I pretty much talk non stop : )

Depends on my mood, I like to talk when I'm driving (on speakerphone) to keep me from getting all road rage-y.

@MamaMoose: Same! I feel so incredibly awkward and uncomfortable on the phone. But I am a big talker in person! I think it also has to do with horrible cell phone reception. I feel like half of the conversation is always "What?" "Huh?" "Can you say that again?"

I hate it!!! I only really like talking to my mom and DH on the phone while I'm driving home from work. Any other time I'd rather a text or an email. No calling.

I prefer all other forms of communication other than talking on the phone. People sound differently on the phone and can be difficult to understand. Plus, some people can ramble on and on while talking on the phone.

I hate it too!!!! I'm so awkward. I make my husband make most phone calls!

I also hate it. Dh makes a lot of calls for me because I hate it so much.

I like talking on the phone with my mom, but that's about it!

I don't mind talking on the phone so much, but I HATE voicemails. I intentionally let my mailboxes fill up and I don't delete messages. When my work started using the desktop mailbox it was like the best thing that ever happened to me!

Hate it. Would SO much rather email, text, or talk in person.

I don't mind it when I have free time and a head set available! Definitely like talking on the phone less than I did when I was younger.

Does anyone else ever put their long-winded friends on speaker phone, put the phone down and walk around or read a book while she talks? Oh, I am such a horrible person but I'm tired of hearing about You You You!! Lol.

I love visiting with my mom and out of town friends on the phone...I get bored hanging around with my little girls sometimes and need some adult conversation. Otherwise I prefer to email, especially with clients as it takes less time and helps me keep the information in one place without having to take notes.
