I've been using target brand diapers for a long time (DD is 1.5). Huge fan of them.
Online it says that they are made of Wood Fluff Pulp and chlorine free.
When I looked at DD's diaper this weekend I noticed she had some of the absorbent gel on her leg. I was so confused. Can someone tell me did Target change their diapers and now they use the gel?

I feel like I read somewhere, awhile back, that even natural diapers have the absorbent beads in them because otherwise they wouldn't absorb fluid? I think I read it on an Honest Co blog at some point because people were complaining that they still had the absorbent gel...I honestly can't remember.

@sorrycharlie: @bunnylove08: I read that too! The pulp is to help distribute the pee and the gel absorbs it .... Or something like that!
