Does anyone have a Tassimo machine. We lost the instruction manual and it is flashing a red light at us. It still works but has a red light. DH says we have to de-scale it. What does that mean and how do I do that!?!!?

I tried the disk with water and vinagear, and it still hasnt turned off. I left him to fend for himself and I went to work. I will deal with it this weekend. DH keeps saying CLR. I am not sure I want to run that through our coffee maker......

@MrsScottish: lol figures! I know it usually takes a couple cycles, did you find the cleaning disc? We thought we had to go buy one, and didn't realize it was in the back.
PS. Went for groceries today, $9.97 price jack for 12 now (breakfast blend) insanity.

There is some descaling stuff you can buy, it's a powder that you put into the water tank and then use the descaling cycle on. That should get rid of the light.
Check their website for the solution or give them a call and find out where close to you has it. I got ours from Home Outfitters.
