It was May 29th. We go back August 5th for teachers.

It was May 24th for kiddos and then May 29th for teachers. We'll go back Aug 14th & kids start the 19th.

May 29 for students & May 31 for teachers. We start back Aug 7 & kids come back Aug 14. Trying not to think about that part!

@msmamabear @mewtill @jhd: Wow, you all have an early end/start to the year (to me)! May I ask in what general area you all teach? I'm in the DC area and we end in the middle of June and usually start the last or second-to-last week of August, and it's considered early for this area!

Last Thursday was my last day! Was supposed to be Friday, but school was cancelled for the tropical storm. I'm subbing this summer at a daycare, so I'll still be working.

@ineebee: I'm in Colorado, but I also taught in Arizona which has a similar schedule (late may/early June & mid-aug). I think it's regional, but also partly for weather? I grew up in northern va/dc & school started in sept/ended in June.

Last day of classes was Friday June 7. I submitted grades yesterday, had a mandatory department meeting today, and now I'm DONE! Until my summer session class begins...but that's not until the end of July, so who cares!

June 25th for students and June 28th for teachers. I teach in Toronto...We go back in September.

I'm still working! Our last day is June 24th (1 week from today) and I am TOTALLY ready for it to be over. I have 3 weeks after the last day of school until my EDD and I have so much to do to get ready!

Mine was may 21. It was the earliest in the state. However, teachers go back August 7.

Last full day with kids was last Friday and finals until Wednesday, Graduation Thursday and Checkout Friday! Can't WAIT!

Last week! We currently have 5 furlough days at the end of the year or else I'd be at work today.
