@aprk: I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Chewbeads-Jane-Necklace-Classic-Purple/dp/B0063JBVH8 because I thought it was a great idea but have never used it because DH pointed out that it would be confusing to let LO play with/chew on one necklace and not others. I wish I hadn't bought it!!

@scg00387: I thought the same thing, which is why I didn't get one at first, but then I read the recent teething post on the blog which makes the good point that they're going to chew on your necklaces regardless: http://www.hellobee.com/2013/05/29/blame-it-on-the-teeth/

I found one for $5 at Michaels (thanks to a HB tip). I wear it and LO loves it. She chomps it especially when I'm wearing her in a carrier, and she plays with it when nursing.

I think the other posters' points are valid - if you don't want him chewing or pulling on your regular necklaces, how will he know the difference. Unless, like you said, you don't wear other necklaces.
