When was your LO's first tooth?
What were the symptoms?
My poor liitle guy's gums are bleeding and he is screaming uncharacteristically if anything touches he chin and when he chews his fingers.

Aww poor thing!
At 8 months her first tooth finally came through. She just had the normal drooling and fussy. At a year she still only has 2 teeth

She got her first two (both bottom front) at the same time one week after turning 6m. She didn't have any symptoms, just one day she stuck my finger in her mouth and I felt them.
Otherwise the rest have come with a slightly high fever but no other real symptoms.

@artbee: Oh wow. How long did the drooling last? A few days, or weeks?
@purrpletulips: Oh, cool. I hope his are uneventful (I don't know if this is teething or something else).

@pastemoo: Ummm..... months! It takes forever for her teeth to come in. We asked her doctor at the 12 month apt because we thought it was odd that she only had two teeth, so she looked in her mouth and showed us that there were lots ready to come in. We could actually see them. But three weeks later and they're still not here. I can't feel them, they're not actually poking through yet, but they're so close!

DS had 2 come in together at 6 months. The drooling definitely lasted for a few months. The only symptoms we really experienced were drooling and extra fussiness. He would was waking at night due to teething pain. We've used the teething tablets the most and really like them. We've also used the gels & tylenol when nothing else would work.
