Holy shit! Our LO is getting 2 (or 4) molars right now, her first ones. Things have been rough over here.
What were the first ones like for your LO?
If it was rough, how long before they were back to their normal self?
What did you do to manage their discomfort?

Question. How do you know she's getting them?? Ds is a but fussy and drooly and I'm wondering if he's getting his molars. But I don't know how to tell? When I try to look in his mouth I can't really see anything and he bites me

@Mrs. Champagne: We felt one after it popped through half-way, and her other ones are making her gums bulge. She also had her front tooth knocked out on Monday, so she's completely miserable!!

LO 1 drooled a little more but it did not affect her sleep or behavior.
LO 2 had a few rough nights of terrible sleep and she was really fussy when she cut her last molars. I think we used Tylenol a couple of times.

LO popped all 4 molars starting at 11.5 months and took 2 months to get through it. 
It disrupted his sleep and he was soooo crabby. We did a lot of co sleeping, advil and teething tablets.

We went through this recently. I think it took a week or two for the first set (tops) to come in, then we got a week "off", then it took another week for the bottoms to come in. We try not to do pain relievers if we can help it because she often vomits when we give them to her (I think she hates the taste), so we just let her have the pacifier more (normally she only gets it at night, but when teething she gets it during the day). We had a few bad nights of sleep but it was over pretty fast luckily. Good luck!

It took forever. Because there are 4 point on a molar, it was like cutting several at once. All four came in followed immeditatly by the canines. There was a lot of advil being used.

We had teething tablets and Motrin/Tylenol going on. It was (still is) pretty miserable. She did 3 molars at once, then finally got the last one in, but is getting it with three canines. She ended up with a double ear infection that may or may not have been related, but I think it was partly to blame.

It took forever for us too they're soo big and flat compared to other teeth!! I gave tylenol and Motrin regularly as needed and provided lots of comfort.

So glad to hear you all treated with Motrin/tylenol. I've followed dosing instructions closely, but she's definitely been getting several doses a day. And, the pacifier is getting some extra love! Her other teeth were never as issue, so this is new territory.

He drooled a ton but i don't remember anything special. Teething never really bothered him.

For LO1, they just suddenly appeared, but not until closer to 18-20 months. He was a very slow tether and was never bothered by it.
