My doctor just told me my anatomy scam revealed an anterior placenta that is very close to the surface.. I think that is the wording she used. ETA: thanks to some of the comments here I think it is a placenta previa - although the ultrasound report said anterior - because the description/risks are identical as the ones my doctor told me this morning.

She said no sex, and that although it isn't a big problem now, the worry is that if it doesn't move on its own as I grow then there is quite a risk of bleeding at about 34 weeks, and then an early c-section.

Really interested in hearing stories about the outcome in either scenario!
