Hoo boy. Last fall we navigated DS starting kinder, DD going from 4 days morning preschool to full time, me moving from working 30 hours a week to 55 hours, their dad moved out, and we started a 75/25 custody split. Everything was fine. We were ok. They learned their new routines. It felt normal by Thanksgiving. Which was when their dad bought a new house. So then we negotiated a new house transition. By the New Year all was manageable. I knew I needed to be in survival mode so I dropped all the non essentials. I paused my gym time for that semester, but I was able to pick it back up by February. I batch cooked. I relaxed screen time rules. We did fewer baths and more quick showers. I made time for therapy. I instituted non-negotiable independent quiet time on weekends when they didn't nap. We read books about changing and feelings. It was FINE. You too shall be fine. It will be hard but you will do it. All will be well.

@graceandjoy: I feel you mama. My biggest transition point was about 3 years ago. We found out I was pregnant with DD2 the day our moving truck arrived to move us from DC to CA. We moved for DH to start a new job. So he went to work as soon as we arrived in CA. Meanwhile I was navigating 1st trimester, having DD1 (2yo at the time) at home with me, finding her daycare, keeping my job from DC but working remotely, settling into new home/neighborhood, unpacking/finding all the things in our million boxes, finding an OB, etc, etc. It was ROUGH. I was freaking tired and crying every day with feeling so overwhelmed. Eventually I found DD1 daycare and that allowed me to work, get some space and settle into a new routine. My parents were super helpful in talking me off the ledge and getting me to identify the most important thing that would be helpful and that was childcare because I couldn't do anything with a 2yo at home. So maybe start with the thing that would be most helpful in relieving your feeling of exhaustion/worry/everything is overwhelming. And then go from there. But yes you will survive and we're here to support you along the way! Good luck and hugs!
