We never knew when DD1 was getting teeth because she never seemed bothered. DD2 is completely opposite - it starts with days of fussing for (what looks like) no reason, followed by a high fever for 2 days.

Crying, chewing on everything, dribbling (oh god, the drool!), acrid diarrhea and often fever. E started teething at 2.5 months and, at 28 months, she still has 3 teeth to go..... and every single tooth was hard won. Poor thing has mummy's pain threshold!
