Dannon Activia Light changed the texture of the inside of the yogurt cup from smooth to rough. Now I can hardly eat my yogurt in the mornings, the sound & feel of my spoon on the inside of the cup is like rubbing two Rubbermaid tote lids together. It REALLY bugs me.
I've always had a texture sensitivity sense I was a kid. Surprises me that I still have one as and adult.

Yes I am a texture person. My biggest issue is with cotton balls I cringe at the thought of them and refuse to touch them.I feel like such a weirdo typing this lol

Yes. A lot of foods I like have some texturally pleasing element to it. I can't eat string beans that are undercooked because the squeak against my teeth. The thought of chewing ice makes me cringe. I hate bananas because they are too mushy, but I love banana flavor, like in baked goods.

@Mrs.B: Ahhh!!! I HATE cotton balls too! No one around me understands!! One time for april fools, my little sister dumped an entire bag of them on my bag like under the sheets, and when I crawled into bed that night....I FREAKED!

I hate it when a metal fork touches my teeth when I'm eating! Eeeeeek!!! I also hate eating eggs because of the texture - eeew!

It's not strictly a kid thing! Sensory processing totally affects grownups too, and be in the form of texture, sound, light, pressure, etc.
