My MIL did some of the food and set-up for my shower yesterday, and I want to make sure I thank her appropriately! Since she wasn't necessarily a hostess, do I get her a gift as well or just a thank you note?

@prettylizy: I might take her to lunch or to go get a pedicure too! She bought more than half our cloth diaper stash for our shower too, and I am just floored! I want to make sure she feels as appreciated as she is

@grizz: My IL's bought us our carseat, playpen and so much more for Xmas right before DD was due and I felt the same way. So overwhelmed and humbled I just wanted them to REALLY know how much we appreciated it all. I think lunch and a pedi is a great idea. Girl time to bond and gush over the soon-to-be grandbaby
