I wanted to do a thanksgiving day art project with LO. I'm thinking about doing this. Is anyone else doing any art projects with LO? What are you making?

I bought a pack of foam cut out turkeys and some stickers from Michaels, we'll make 3D placecards for Tday dinner.

Oh that is so cute! We already made turkeys out of their handprints, but I saw a craft the other day that I want to do this week. It was a big turkey cut out and the kids decorated the turkey feathers with picutres/words describing what they were thankful for; it turned out super cute!

That is so cute!!
We had to do a family turkey for day care. So we traced T's hands for feet and then used all 3 of our hands for the feathers. I didn't notice till I glued it all that all the green is on one side. It now mocks me when I see it every morning when I get to day care.
I also want to make this table runner and add her hand print each year.

@cmomma17: I am going to just use the cheap acrylic paint in the bottles for under $1. Since it is just one hand and we can wash it right away.

@cmomma17: He has been doing art projects at daycare since 4 months. So, I feel like it's time I step up and do something at home. Hopefully, this will be more successful than painting pumpkins.
