You get to work and there is a cake in the fridge for later this afternoon! We're celebrating a birthday today and one of my coworkers is an incredible baker. I was SUPER excited to see there will be cake today!

The reason for this isn't awesome but, I got the sleep in the past two days b/c Mom is in town to watch our sick lo. It means I get an extra 1/2 hour in the morning.

Work is randomly cancelled! We have an emergency electrical problem in the basement, so all power is shut off today. I'm home with LO instead of at work. That's a great day.

Niiiiice. I had an awesome moment yesterday when a coworker suggested going to Taco John's for lunch...and they paid. Hell yes.

I want cake!
I get a package or two today in the mail which I always love. It's for me too instead of LO or for the home which is kind of nice for once.
Also, we went to a play group this morning and LO did great. She actually started to play with another baby which made me happy to see. Usually she tries for a minute then clings to me and screams until we leave (that's how she talks sometimes, she just screams and screeches).

This morning I woke up, looked at the monitor, realized DS wasn't in his crib and DH wasn't in bed....peeked into the living room to see them playing on the floor. When DS saw me he immediately squealed and speed-crawled to me. Apparerently DH had woken up, seen DS wake up and went in and grabbed him before he could cry and wake me up. He knew I'd been up several times with him last night, and wanted me to get an extra hour of uninterrupted sleep.

@MrsTiz: I've done it. An old weight watchers thing, one box cake mix, one can of (diet for wieght watcher) pop et voila- cake.
I've done chocolate with Dr. Pepper and and vanilla with cream soda, both turned out pretty darn good.
