I'm wanting to get lost in a good book, it's been way too long...has anyone read this? Looking for reviews on it and what it's along the lines of. I see it's a movie now!

Yes! I've read the first two books in the trilogy. It's good! Definitely on par with the Hunger Games, and better than Divergent in terms of the writing, I think. The plot is so-so but kept my interest!

It's been awhile since I read it but I know I really liked it! It was hard to put down, kept me trying to figure out who to trust, what was going on, etc. Great book.

I heard on the radio this morning this movie was no bueno so I was nervous about reading the book since I wasn't sure if it was just the movie or if it was the story/concept. I downloaded it earlier this week. Glad to know all y'all enjoyed the book!!

Yes! I LOVED the first book in the series, and the second is decent too. I couldn't put either of them down!! Just hoping the third one ends well!
Not that you're exactly asking for recommendations, but I'd also suggest Red Rising by Pierce Brown - similar feel of Hunger Games and I felt the second book was even better than the first (which already was GREAT)!

@Bao: no not cheesy really...I just thought that the ultimate "big reveal" about the plot was kind of not really that shocking/was a little far fetched. But we'll see how the 3rd book ends up!
