I do a rotation so there's limited crap out at one time. But I think I plan on doing a purge/donation every year around the holidays as he gets older and can participate. Give some toys away or Santa can't bring you new ones basically

I try and purge every chance I get. I am 2 and done, my littlest one is 20 months, and I always have a running box of items that I plan on donating or giving away, I fill it up as I go along, toys and clothing that are being outgrown. The hard part is that my husband is a pat rack, and loves to take things out of our donation box and justify why we should keep, it’s almost comical sometimes, I put things in, he will take it right out. But purging is a good feeling, it is hard to stem the tide, but since we are done with any more kids, I’m glad we don’t have to keep everything and store it somewhere, for the most part, 80% of things are getting donated/given away. The other month, I gave my expecting gf 8 boxes of clothes/toys/baby gear, and we were both excited and happy—she that she got all these things, and me that I made room in my daughter’s closets.

We don't have the storage to rotate, so everything is out and it's pretty overwhelming. I picked two pretty big toys out yesterday that she never plays with. They're on the kitchen table waiting to be donated. She plays with everything else, so I feel bad getting rid of it.

I've weeded out infant toys, and put them in storage at my parents (we have no storage). I need to go through stuff again...we're thinking about moving, so I'm in clear out mode!

I haven't gotten rid of anything. I have a problem. Haha.

I am TOTALLY going to do this. The baby is just starting to get too old for some of the really baby toys, so I'm going to start getting grid of them. I would love to get rid of some of DS's toys too, but I feel like the baby may want to play with them before they go, so I'm reluctantly holding onto them for now.

D has learned about Listia, so a lot of his stuff has been going on there, lately. Before that, we do yearly purges, cause I hate having a lot of stuff around. All his grandparents help him accumulate a lot of stuff through the year.

Now, M's closet has a lot of D's old stuff, but more stuff goes out of the house that stays. I know M is going to have his own collection of gramma toys he'll be stockpiling.
