Seriously how do you keep track of the days? Or what day of the week it is?
I had no idea it was Tuesday...

Ha yep. I keep track of what classes he has on each day, and that helps!

@chopsuey: LOL!!!
@hilsy85: haha the hard part is DH doesn't have a set schedule nor is he always off on the weekend. So I can't even depend on that. Then today we kept her home from daycare so I totally lost track of what day of the week it was. Totally felt like a Sunday!

Probably lame but I keep track based on what tv shows are on! Lol and I also now have weekly midwife appointments on the same day. Plus storytime is always the same day. But yes, it is mainly based on my television schedule

Ha. We have classes almost every day so I can keep track!

@locavore_mama: I'm in the same boat. Signing LO up for classes and going back to my classes will help but our life never feels totally regular. It can be annoying!

@locavore_mama: True story, I read your post and thought to myself, "It's not Tuesday, it's Monday!" So, yes, my days all blur together.

I sing the days of the week song to LO every morning. (Today is Tuesday, today is Tuesday, today is Tuesday all day long etc) It's mostly for me.

I try to keep a schedule. We have a standing girls day with my mom on Mondays, groceries and Target on Tuesday, library and ducks on Wednesday mornings, Thursday chores, and some sort of outing with my dad on Friday afternoons. THRILLING, I know, but helps to keep the week somewhat in order!

Tuesdays are our weekly playdates with the moms from our first mommy and me class, so that helps! Thursdays are story time at the library. Mondays are the day after Sunday (DH has a regular work week so it's notable)... Weds and Friday are the other days!
Yeah, I don't know. I don't even watch TV live anymore and just watch everything on DVR or On Demand!

I tend to forget too, so I judge things by my DHs work schedule. Seems to help a bit, lol

I don't. I'll temember it's Tuesday and she has school, but by dinner time I'm like "wow tbis week went fast! I can't believe it's already Friday!" and then no.
It even happens to my husband. He woke up one morning to his alarm and said "what the eff? This should turn on on Saturdays!" and it was Wednesday.
It makes us both sad.

Yeah now that I don't have a million dr appointments I have to think hard about what day it is. Luckily, DS lets me know when it's friday lol.

I just read this thinking, "Well, it's easier for me since DH is off work every Sunday, that's how I know it's Tuesday." But wait...this is a post from yesterday, and today is not Tuesday. It's Wednesday.
So yes, clearly the days are blurring for me too.

@locavore_mama: WELCOME.
Pretty soon you'll forget what time it is and your first name too!

@CupQuakeWalk: Haha LOL thanks!! I'm good on the time because I watch the clock for breakfast, morning snack, lunch, nap, afternoon snack, dinner and bedtime! Lol when DH is gone for 12 hours it's how I break up the day.

@locavore_mama: I have 3 times zones: Before the nap, after the nap, and after bedtime

But that was so freeing, the fact that every day was the same! I didn't have those awful "sunday night yucks" that I have had since a school kid.
It was only a "problem" where I lived because the majority of the stores were closed on Sundays, so if I didn't plan well, we couldn't get groceries!

I'm usually good for day of the week because of the big kids school ... but DATE like of the month ... yeah not so much. I rely heavily on Google Calendar and pop up reminders on my phone.

Seriously! DD is only 11 days old and from the second I went into labor time has flown by and I rarely know what day it is. Or at least it never feels like what day it really is!
pomegranate / 3872 posts
I only know based on classes or activities. My husband's schedule is always different so that doesn't help!
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
I usually have to stop and think about it pretty hard to figure out what day of the week it is. Forget knowing the date - I'm useless. It doesn't help that DH is off Friday/Saturday instead of Saturday/Sunday, so I always think its a day later than it actually is.
