I'm only in love with one girl name... It starts with a P and our last name starts with a P.
What would you do?
I'm strongly considering changing our last name
just kidding.

The middle name would break it up. I don't think there's a problem with it.

I agree with @Danizaur: Full initials could be anything - PAP, PEP, PMP, PLP, you name it! And, if you're into monogramming (or she is), it'd be totally different - PPA, PPE, PPM, PPL!

DH's initials are BS and he has embraced it. If you are worried about it though I agree with using all 3 initials.

Unless you say it outloud it's fine, and I can't think if any situation where you would say first and last initials outloud.

I think it's fine, perhaps avoid a middle name starting with A? I wouldn't like PAP for initials.
My first name/last name initials were CP. Not a whole lot better
but I never was teased for it and didn't really care.

I know someone with the initials and it has never been a problem, so I say go with the name you love!

I guess I'm in the minority and would avoid it. LO's last name starts with F and I absolutely refused any M names.

I would have this same issue in the future.. interested in hearing peoples responses.
@Ms.Badger: Hilarious! my maiden initials were M.F and I actually have NEVER thought about that until now (nor has anyone every brought it up)

I have a friend with the initials PP. She actually used to sign her emails that way and everything. She was sad to give up her maiden name and change her initials. I literally never thought of how it sounded. I wouldn't worry about it

@mrsf: That's great! I'm glad your friend took pride in her initials.
I had a male friend in elementary school whose initials were PMS. He was teased mercilessly when we had our "changing bodies" class.

@polkadots: I wouldn't care! There's nothing wrong with that! On here, we think of PP as PostPartum, but 99.9% of the general population does not think in those terms:)
