...besides the fact that I now have a baby to care for, is being squeamish about seeing the crowning shots on my 27-in. computer screen. Lol. It only took me 5 weeks to get up the courage and dump the card onto my computer and then only look at the thumbnails. Baha.

I looked through my birth photos once and then they went straight to the external hard drive. I still can't bring myself to look again despite a wonderful birth

Haha yeah I'm ok with having no birth photos. I remember it fondly but I don't need to see certain things. It would be nice to have some but I don't think I'd ever get to editing them.

@Beyond2: @Foodnerd81: I should have added that I'm working on getting into birth photography and I want to use some of the photos to promote the idea. Otherwise I'm not sure I would ever get around to doing anything with them either.

I had this same problem! It took me a while, but I finally went through them and changed everything to b&w too.

You're brave! I didn't have a birth photographer, and when they asked if I wanted to see the baby crowning with a mirror I said noo thanks!!

Wow...this is why I don't bother with these pics. I'm ok with not seeing what's going on, lol I dont' even want to watch my c section...and if DH does, I'm gonna tell him not to share any details!

@Dandelion: As far as birth photos go, I couldn't care less about crowning shots, more the labor and directly after birth photos. But I wasn't sure if I wanted crowning shots before, so I didn't tell the friend in charge of my camera and photos one way or the other, so she got the whole thing. Which, really, they aren't as graphic as I was freaked out about since she was up toward my head and they're not full-on crotch shots.
If I'd hired an actual birth photographer, I think I wouldn't mind one or two tasteful photos of the actual birth- selected and edited photos, lol.
