Has anyone read this? I'm about 2/3 of the way through and it's just... Affecting me very powerfully for some reason. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this, or if I'm just in a crazy emotional state.

Oh Lordy, no! I had to force myself through this book because I found it so boring!!!
It's funny how different people find different things in the same book/picture/music etc!

Haha, my mum gave this to DH for his birthday a couple of years ago. He still hasn't read it. I did though. I thought it was sweet. I felt there was a sort of quasi-religious undercurrent, but other than that I found it really enjoyable. Love some of the characters he meets along the way!

@Cherrybee: @OldEnglandMama: I must just be overly emotional, sad that mat leave is 3/4 done and the anniversary of my dad's death coming up. It is funny how two people can read the same book and get totally different things out of it! -
