... Is THUD followed by confused moaning and frantic running feet. LO fell out of his bed! He ran out into the hall and started pulling on the gate. First time that's happened. Now he's tucked back in but wide awake, and so am I.

Oh no
my lo has fallen out a couple times. She will cry for less then a minute as she climbs back in and go back to sleep though. I think she's more scared then anything else.

He just seemed really startled. The bed is low, so he wasn't hurt. This is when i almost wish I didn't have a video monitor. He took forever to fall back asleep, and I felt like I couldn't sleep until he did.

Oh no! DD fell out of her bed three times but crazy girl stayed asleep on the ground. Poor boy! It'll get better, promise!

@BabyBoecksMom: well, we never put up a rail, so it was bound to happen eventually. I may need to rethink that if it happens more!
