We did a Winter ONEderland for my DD's 1st birthday - but it was cold and snowy!

Winter ONEderland is always a cute theme and you can do it a lot of different ways! My cousin did milk and cookies and a hot chocolate bar with different toppings.

Winter sports theme or the winter wonderland one, with a hot chocolate bar where you can add your own toppings/mixes like crushed candy canes, marshmallows, chocolate shavings, whipped cream, etc. Then you can play games like paper snowball toss into a box. I did it with white socks rolled into balls. It would be so pretty to have sparkly white snowy decorations around. You could also have marshmallow snowmen. I am having all these winter snack ideas go through my head right now...

Oh, you could do gingerbread cookie decorating too! or mini gingerbread house making which I make with 6 graham crackers glued together with melted white sugar. They're adorable and very sturdy. The "baby it's cold outside" theme is cute! @regberadaisy:

You could do a Polar Express theme and have guests come in their PJs. Serve cookies, milk, hot chocolate bar. Give out bells as favors? That might be too Christmas-y for January, though? I like the "Baby it's cold outside" theme, too.

"First Snow" theme. Mrs. Train made "snow" with her kids; you could do the samemil experiment with the bigger party goers. Other activities could be creating snow flakes or snow wands. You can serve snow cones.
