I'm sure everyone agrees that their LOs are growing up way too fast! Last night I was watching DD brush her teeth. She can do it by herself now. She does a kick butt job at it, too. I was so proud and sad at the same time. Have you felt this way recently?

LO is almost 1 and I want to cry. She's starting to do things purposefully - like, she will drag a step stool to the coffee table so that she can climb up on top of the table and I think, "How does she know how to do that???"

Yes, LO will be one next week. Luckily I've been pretty busy and had a lot on my mind, so I haven't been able to think about it much.

@mediagirl: I think it is super hard to remember the first few months, too much going on. I think I will remember a lot more about what she is doing now. I guess what makes me sad is her growing independence. I also tried to help her put on her pajamas and and said No, I'm doing it. Ack! You just like to feel needed even though at first you're like omg, this newborn needs me every second of the day. Haha, parenting is wacky.
