But do you have to ovulate to get a period?
I'm curious because AF came back 7 months PP. I still nurse around the clock and co-sleep, so I'm wondering if I ovulate every month.
My cycle went from 40ish days to 29 finally.

as pp have said you can get your period without ovulating. I couldn't be bothered charting either. Just get a truckload of cheap online HPT and POAS when you need the peace of mind!

@chopsuey119: yeah, more for peace of mind .... or as @cupcakemama said, get tests ... if you really wanna know or just have nature take its course again!

@chopsuey119: I can see how that can be like a roller coaster every month! I used to be scared of charting but it's really easy when you get the hang of it. The thing is though that charting while bf'ing can be tricky I've heard. Kellymom has good info on TTC/charting while bf'ing though!
