This..My sisters kids, 2 out of 3, were/are in the position. The craziness slowed down just after 2!

@Quiverofjustice: There are SOOO many things to take into account when following growth & the % is a very small part of that! Is baby meeting milestones? Happy & content? Following in mom or dads growth footsteps? etc.

Like @pastemoo: said it's easy to worry regardless of where your baby is on the scale. Best thing to do is just enjoy your lo & try to not waste too much time on that worrying.

I think it's hysterical that you googled gigantism! I'm sure I would have too though :). I bet it'll slow down once he's crawling. Maybe he's preparing for some marathon crawling sessions to keep up with his siblings!

My daughter has always been big for her age and is just now starting to slow down and drop percentiles at a year old. She's still 90th for weight even now, but she was 100th until 6 months and 95th after that.

It all evens out eventually! I wouldn't worry. We just like to joke that she's going to be a 6 ft tall supermodel!

@Quiverofjustice: WOW! 2T tops or bottoms or both? My 2 year old is in 2T clothes and she's always been in the 90+th%.
She's 3 feet tall (guessing your son isn't 3 feet tall, right?)

If your pedi isn't concerned, then I wouldn't be concerned either. My daughter wore 12 month onesies when she was 3-4 months old and even wore 18 month separates at 4 months old too.. all of those larger clothes lasted until she was over a year old.

*hugs* babies come in all different sizes! That's the beautiful of it all. He's his own person and he's fine! My brother was a big baby (10lbs11oz at birth). Then, he was huge and tall throughout infant hood. Now, he is 14, 5'8" and is an awesome basketball player and athlete. We think he'll even get a scholarship. He is still growing and doctor says he'll probably be over 6' by 17 and more by 21. He's tall, athletic and strong yet so young. Weird because, We're all teenie tiny in my family :)) I was 112lbs and 5'3" at 21.
