LO's been super fussy today. She's not wanted to eat or play and was fighting sleep. She finally fell asleep but woke up after 30 minutes upset again. I tried to rock her back to sleep and she fell asleep on my chest/shoulder. She's almost four months and has never done this even though I've tried. I've always wanted her to sleep like this. This makes this morning not even matter. : )

Awe what a sweet moment. The night before LO's first tooth came through she was super fussy and cranky, after trying a multitude of things I finally just held her close and she cuddled up and snuggled me for the first time in months. As tired as I was, it was such a treat just to be needed in that way. All she wanted was to be close to her mama.

So sweet! I always want DS to fall asleep on my shoulder like that, but he never does. Well he does, but never for me! He'll do it for DH, MIL, FIL, Mom...pretty much anyone but me!
My sweetest moment of the day so far: we co-sleep half the night, and I woke up around 7 to DS sleep nursing. It was really quiet in the house and outside, and I just laid there quietly and watched him for a few minutes. Then he opened his eyes, looked right into mine, pulled away off of my breast to give me a big, sleepy smile, then closed his eyes and latched back on and fell back asleep.

@FutureMrsMcK: I love sleepy smiles. She slept for over eight hours straight last night when it's usually just six. She started fussing in her sleep since she was hungry so I stroked her hair and she looked up at me half asleep but grinning.

Awwww. So sweet! That just makes all the bad things go away.
M fell asleep on my shoulder last night because she's so darn sick right now it's the only way she can sleep peacefully - almost upright.

Awww!! I can completely understand how that feels, except DD didn't fall asleep on us until just recently at 9 months
