Awww so sweet! Glad you had fun!

This was me last night when I realized my son's endless chatter in the backseat was actually a pretty solid rendition of a lullaby I sing and he was singing to his sleepy sister. We did it! One now healthy preemie, one pregnancy to term, two blessings.

A few years ago, in the middle of infertility stuff, my husband and I were driving to his grandmother's for Thanksgiving. We had a pie in the car and it smelled delicious, and the trees were changing colour and it was sunny out and I had kind of a vision of being in that exact same circumstance but with a baby seat in the backseat. Last year that vision was reality and I was so so grateful.
