I purchased a dress from ThreadUp last year. It was a great dress, wonderful quality, but I had to send it back because it was too small through the ribs for me. They were prompt with processing the return and my refund.

I bought some things for myself recently. One item was a completely different size than what they specified online, but other than that, I was happy. The condition of the items were as described on the website, and some were better than others but they were upfront about it. I ended up sending a few things back and it took awhile the get a refund (I've noticed they are pretty slow in general though). I think it took maybe 2 weeks.

I've used thredup several times and been happy most of the time. I find the quality generally matches what they've described. I've purchased things with "minor flaws" and can't even find the flaw they've described. I think for the most part the pricing is fair, too.
I've also consigned a few things with them and was pretty happy with that process. I opted to cash out rather than have a credit, and getting the money transferred took a while, but I wasn't desperate for the money so it wasn't a big deal.

I've ordered from thredup a few times, and have been happy so far. The items I've received have always been as described, and I think the prices are very fair. If an item is listed as having a flaw, I always make sure to look closely at the zoomed-in image to see if I can see the flaws/stains they're talking about.
Also, if you have the app on your phone, they routinely send notifications for 10% or 15% off your mobile order, usually on Mondays and Tuesdays!

I have been happy with the stuff I bought for me while pregnant and for LO.
I was less excited with the credit I got for the stuff I consigned but I'm not an experience consigner so I don't have anything to compare it to. They send you an email when your stuff sells which kind of bugs me. If it is selling so well why did I get so little? I'll keep buying there though.

@Corduroy: eh, you never get the right amount when cashing in your things. i believe that at any consignment place. but good to know they are mostly worth buying from.

just uodating this with my own experience. will definitely be buying the bigger brand names from this site. oilily, mini boden, and more. so freaking cheap compared to the brand new price and the condition you get is like-new. highly recommend. posted a 20$ credit in the deals section. enjoy!
